Introduction: In 1992, years of tribal wars destroyed the mountains and rivers of the East African country Somalia, and the people were in dire straits. The resulting famine caused 300,000 deaths. The dictator Mohammad Farah Aidid, who controls the capital Mogadishu, has robbed the relief supplies of international organizations, which has aroused public outrage. The maddened Aidid declared war on the international peacekeeping organization, and the United States sent 160 special forces members to Mogadishu to overthrow the Aidid regime.
